Upgrading or changing your subscription

Upgrading your Startup subscription

You can easily change your on-going subscription by navigating to Settings > Account > Billing.

Press the "Upgrade plan" button if you're on Startup subscription (both for yearly or monthly plan) and would like to upgrade to Business subscription, or change to a monthly or yearly plan.

Downgrading your Business subscription

To downgrade from Business to Startup plan, please contact support.dearlucy.co. A Dear Lucy consultant will come back to you to confirm that essential users and dropdown filters (and other Business plan features) are not removed from your Dear Lucy environment as a consequence of the downgrade.

Changing your subscription in the middle of a period

If you decide to upgrade or downgrade your subscription in the middle of a period, Dear Lucy will prorate or credit remaining unused days from the original payment plan.

For example, if you pay for a Startup Monthly plan on the 1st of every month but decide to switch to a Startup Yearly plan on the 15th on that month, your Startup Yearly plan will start immediately and the invoice will credit the unused days on your Monthly plan.

In short, you will be credited for the 15 days that you had already paid for in the Monthly Plan and therefore the invoice amount for the Yearly plan will be lower.
