Severa Rest API Integration Set-up

In order to integrate Dear Lucy with Severa's REST API, you first need to configure your integration in Severa.

1. Navigate to REST API Settings: (Settings > API)

2. Click "Create client credentials"

3. Input “Dear Lucy” into the “Integration target system”, fill in description and click “Select API scopes”

4. Select the following scopes:

• customers:read (mandatory)

• projects:read (mandatory)

• activities:read (mandatory)

• settings:read (mandatory)

• users:read (mandatory)

• invoices:read (recommended, mandatory for project and billing reporting)

• fees:read (recommended, mandatory for project and billing reporting)

• resourceallocations:read (recommended, mandatory for project and billing reporting)

• hours:read (recommended, mandatory for project and billing reporting)

Leave the “I have an integration partner” box unchecked, complete the captcha and click the save button.

5. Once set up, copy Client ID and client secret from Severa:

6. Navigate to Dear Lucy and add a new integration: (Settings > Integrations > + Add new)

7. Click the Severa logo from the integrations list and paste "Client ID" and "client secret" into the corresponding form fields. Choose Severa environments where you created the integration. If you don’t know which one to choose, select “Production”.

8. Click “Connect” and wait for the connection to be established and finally, click “Complete”
